Storytime with an Excavator

Highline Construction has partnered with Bellingham Public Library to enhance the library’s existing preschool Storytime program this fall.

An excavation-themed storytime session will take place at Bellingham Public Library – Bellis Fair Branch on Wednesday, October 18th at 12:05pm.

Levi Nyberg, Civil Production Manager for Highline Construction, will read a construction-themed picture book, answer questions about working in construction, and give kids a chance to climb aboard a real excavator.

Highline Construction’s Storytime visits come in conjunction with a donation of more than a dozen children’s books, including titles like: Diggersaurs by Michael Whaite; Little Excavator by Anna Dewdney; Mighty, Mighty Construction Site by Sherri Duskey Rinker; and more. These books will be available for checkout immediately following the event.
