Every form of writing – whether poems, novels, short stories, screen plays–all start with an idea, one bone to your skeleton of a story. But once you have your plan, your layout, the whole skeleton, you need the organs, the skin, the meat to make your story bold and beautiful. In this class, we will do just that! Adding and expanding what your writing is capable of doing. Finding new meaning and exploring different forms of writing to help you do so. Say you are a novelist, try writing your story in a poem. Are you a short story writer? Try making your tale like a movie. Poet Rose McAleese, 2014 Chuckanut Writers Conference Faculty, invites you to join her for this fascinating exploration of the anatomy of writing.
