Parenting Around the World: An exploration of the diversity of culture and parenting values and practices worldwide

Come for an engaging session exploring parenting practices around the world. Reflect on your own values and approaches to parenting as we learn from each other and the rest of the planet. Presented by Darcie Donegan, adjunct faculty in Early Childhood Education at Whatcom Community College since 1995. With more than 30 years experience working with families in various capacities, including teaching, writing, consulting and international work in over 20 countries, Darcie received a mini-grant from the Northwest International Education Association to develop the workshop “Parenting Around the World.” Program co-sponsored by Whatcom Community College and the Bellingham Public Library.
