Whatcom Conservation District, in partnership with Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association and Whatcom Land Trust are joining conservation districts and partner organizations across the Pacific Northwest on October 16th for Orca Recovery Day. This day of action is aimed at improving conditions for critically endangered Southern Resident Orca Whales. Whatcom Orca Recovery Day will focus on restoring salmon habitat along California Creek.
