Opus’ Spring Showcase highlights the instructional aspect of the school from our youngest students of three years old to our intermediate/advanced high school students performing ballet, tap, contemporary, jazz & lyrical. Opus’ Spring Showcase includes new works by artistic director Brooke Evans and faculty members Amalie Barton, Emma Beha, Damian Cade, Elizabeth Graham, Celeste Hartsook, Bailey McCully and Diane Williams. This year, the performance will feature and celebrate one of Opus’ graduating seniors, Atlas Hovdesven, performing Marius Petipa’s classical variation from the historic ballet, Le Corsaire (1856). With a variety of all classes performing, you will get a taste of students’ experiences throughout the year, what the dancers have learned together, and the goals they are reaching for as they refine and hone their skills. Performances of Opus’ Spring Showcase are appropriate for all ages.
