With the same tuning and fingerings as a violin it’s only natural for violinists to “move on over” to the mandolin and become a “double-threat”! Why mandolin? Well, for one thing they’re a lot of fun to play! And they are COOL… just ask Chris Thile! And you can be both folky AND funky on them! And hey, they’re not a ukelele!
