MAKE.SHIFT March Art Walk

For the month of March 2017, Make.Shift Art Space will host two consecutive exhibitions.

The front room will feature One and the Same Over Time, an installation by Seattle-based sculpture artist Amber Barney-Nivon. Her work explores patterns and phenomena in the known world as a way of feeling a connection with the Universe. She uses a variety of media such as crystals, metal, wood, glass, acrylic, and found objects.

The back room will feature photography by Seattle-based artist Juan Franco. The exhibition Aren’t You Glad? is a collection of works that indulge in decay. These self-aware works remind the viewer of something familiar and ominous, a reminder of our own lives as fleeting.
