Make.Shift August Art Walk: Make.Shift Family: Appreciating those who Make.Shift happen

For the First Friday Art Walk in August, Make.Shift Gallery will host our first annual appreciation night for the tremendous volunteers, tenants and staff that make this space possible. We’ve invited all those involved behind the scenes at Make.Shift to display works depicting unique interpretations of community to celebrate our chosen family in the Bellingham arts & music scene. “Make.Shift Family: Appreciating those who Make.Shift happen” will feature new visual art by James Mey, Steeb Russell, Jess Flegel, Brad Lockhart, Renee Shepherd, Jabez Richard, Jessyca Murphy and more!

Art Walk Friday will also kick off Make.Shift Gallery’s Frame Scholarship Fundraiser! By 2018, we hope to raise $5,000 to support emerging artists to professionally display and preserve their work. Community members who donate $50 or more will receive an appreciation package full of Make.Shift and KZAX merch and goodies from the talented artists and volunteers who make this wonderful place run!
