Live Music in the Piano Lounge: Checo Tohomaso

Join the Jansen Art Center on Thursday evenings for two hours of free music from local artists. The July series will begin this Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Jansen’s Piano Lounge. Wine, beer and food will be available for purchase for concert goers from the Firehall Cafe.

On July 21, Checo Tohomaso will visit from Vancouver, B.C., to play soul at the Jansen for the first time. Tohomosao has provided background vocals and keyboard for the likes of Marvin Gaye, The Commodores and Lionel Ritchie. Tohomaso now oversees a gospel choir in Vancouver and focuses on communicating the power of soul music to his audience.
