League of Women Voters Voter Registration

Every year, the Bellingham Chapter of the League of Women Voters sponsors a voter registration drive to enable the citizens of Whatcom County to vote in State of Washington elections. In order to vote, a person must be a citizen of the United States, be at least 18 years of age at the time of the election and not currently under authority of the Department of Corrections for a felony offense. The League members who will be conducting the registration have participated in a voter registration training session, will be able to register eligible citizens and be able to answer questions related to voting.
