“Of this Land: Contemporary First Nations’ Sculpture” Exhibition Art Talk and Reception

Two leading Northwest artists will present discussions of their art at the Sculpture Northwest Gallery. Felix Solomon, a noted Lummi carver, will describe the process behind his latest work including a canoe on exhibit at the Bellingham Airport and his 11 ft. totem pole recently commissioned by San Juan Cable, on view at the Gallery through February 25.  Jason Reed Brown (Athabascan) will discuss his metalwork and the stories and journeys behind his iconic sculptures.
