Kids’ Summer Fiddle Week – Level 1

(Monday, August 1 – Thursday, August 4, 10:00 a.m. – noon (four days) $25 per day or $80 for all four.)

Fiddle Week at the Bellingham Folk School is a fun way for kids to learn fiddle music in a group setting and develop group playing skills. Come for one or two days, or all four! New music will be played every day. All classes are taught by ear (no written music). We’ll cover some tunes, chords, accompaniments, arrangements, and how to enjoy making music with others. Some experience learning by ear is helpful but not required. Fiddle Club Level 1 is geared towards new fiddlers who have been playing for less than a year.
