Please join Sierra Club for a presentation with Eric Hirst on Water In Whatcom County; Why We Should Be Concerned. Eric was lead defendant in the Washington Supreme Court decision which ruled that Whatcom County failed to comply with the Growth Management Act requirements to protect water resources. Eric Hirst has a Ph.D. in engineering from Stanford University, spent 30 years as an energy policy analyst at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and retired to Bellingham 14 years ago. He is a local environmental activist. We look forward to learning more about this vital issue from him and encourage the community to join us this night.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the presentation starts at 7:00 p.m.
