The South Fork Valley Community Association (SFVCA) is pleased to present
Growing Your Own Produce & Fruit:
Experience & Resources

South Fork Zoom & Eat: Growing Your Own, and Local Resources: Thursday, March 11, 7:00pm. Due to the uncertainty of handling and sharing food during the pandemic, this “Project Neighborly” presentation sponsored by the Whatcom Community Foundation and South Fork Valley Community Association will take place online as a Zoom gathering (to be recorded for subsequent on-line access). Although we may not be able to enjoy each other’s local dishes, we will still be able to learn from experienced speakers, discover a bit about growing, harvesting, preserving, and distributing food in the South Fork and Foothills.

· Topic of discussion: Spring is on the way! Resources for planting and growing a garden; how to grow your own produce and fruit. Learning about, and from, local farmers.
· Presenters:
· Erin Suda and Gina Duell, The River Farm
· Elizabeth Hayes, Cloud Mountain Farm Center
·
How to attend: When the time comes, click on this link to enter the meeting:
https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84358592183. Or send your email address to southforkvalley@aol.com and you will receive an invitation to the Zoom event. Simple as that.

· Ask questions, share tips and recipes!
