On Thursday December 17th starting at 5:30 p.m., the community is invited to take care of all the nature lovers on their holiday shopping lists in one place: the Whatcom Land Trust offices at 412 N. Commercial St. in Bellingham.
Ten local authors and photographers will be on hand to sign and sell their work celebrating the natural beauty of Whatcom County. Vendors will include Brett Baunton (Whatcom landscapes photography), Anita Boyle (“The Drenched” ), William Dietrich (“North Cascades; Finding Beauty and Renewal in the Wild Nearby”), John D’Onofrio (Whatcom landscape photography; co-author, “Mt. Baker”), Andrea Gabriel (“Where Would I Be in an Evergreen Tree?”), Alan Sanders (Whatcom landscape photographry), David Tucker (“Geology Underfoot in Western Washington”), Mark Turner (“Wildflowers of the Pacific Northwest”), Todd Warger (co-author, “Mt. Baker”), and Saul Weisberg (“Headwaters: Poems & Field Notes”).
Shoppers who opt to make a donation of $40 or more to Whatcom Land Trust will receive a scrolled poem by James Bertolino accompanied by original art by Harold Balazs.
Whatcom Land Trust will provide free gift wrapping services and refreshments. Stop by after work!
