Using posters in “The Art of Genre: Posters from Hollywood’s Golden Age” for inspiration, young artists attending this workshop watch professional make-up artist Julie Marantette turn her lovely assistant into an alien monster. Students then transform themselves into imaginative characters or monsters! Photos of participants will display in the Museum’s Lookout Landing and on-screen prior to the next science fiction film at Pickford Film Center. Participants receive a pass to the next Sci Fi film at Pickford.
