Co-Parenting Communication Workshop

The Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center (WDRC) is offering a Co-Parenting Communication Workshop. This course is designed to help divorced, separated, and never married parents build skills to manage emotions, be heard, communicate effectively, and reduce co-parenting conflicts. Participants will learn how to identify stresses and triggers, appropriately manage anger, and express needs in an assertive, interest-based manner. The workshop will introduce participants to the root of conflict, physiological responses to conflict, conflict resolution strategies, and effective communication techniques – empowering individuals to deal with conflict in their lives safely and productively. The cost of the training is $10 and pre-registration is required. The Co-Parenting Communication Workshop will be offered again on Saturday, September 19th from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
