Camp Mac, a non-contact football camp for boys and girls ages 6-12 that is led by former NFL player Anthony McClanahan, will be conducted July 21-23 in Bellingham
Participants will learn safe and effective football techniques, enhance strength, speed and motor skills, and develop confidence and self-discipline, all in a fun and positive environment, McClanahan said. Camp sessions will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at Downer Field and other Bellingham locations.
“Campers will learn the fundamentals to become excellent athletes,” McClanahan said.
McClanahan is owner and head trainer of 41 Sports Fitness Boot Camps in Bellingham. He will be assisted at Camp Mac by trainers, coaches and former pro and college players, including Hillary Butler, Brent McClanahan, Lo Mitz, Larry Parker Jr., Derek Sparks and Tim Stallworth.
