The book is both road trip and family memoir, an account, theoretical, practical, and deeply personal, of the author’s transformation from a meat-eater to an animal advocate. How can we, he asks, in an era of climate change, develop deeper, more authentic and compassionate relationships with all other animals, including ourselves.
