Bellingham City Club Forum: Washington’s Controversial and Consequential Ballot Initiatives

Bellingham City Club to present a dynamic in-person event featuring pro and con speakers regarding the four initiatives on Washington’s General Election ballot. Brian Heywood, Founder and co-chair of “Let’s Go WA” and political powerbroker will advocate in favor of the four initiatives on this year’s ballot. State Representative Alex Ramel and representatives of “Invest in Washington Now,” AARP, and State Senator Liz Lovelett will present the opposition view. Initiatives before voters in November seek to repeal or weaken laws passed by the Legislature’s Democratic majority.
