An Improvised Musical

Bringing Broadway musicals to Bellingham — Upfront style.

The Upfront Theatre has tackled many different styles of improvised comedy over the past 10 years. From murder mysteries, space adventures, the old west and even warm and fuzzy holiday formats. In July we take on the magical world of musicals. Yep, we said it; each night we’re debuting a fully improvised musical. The plot, lyrics, music, choreography and comedy will be combined to make an epic improvised production worthy of Broadway.

The Upfront Theatre is a 100-seat cabaret style venue that offers live improv comedy shows every Thursday (8:00 p.m.) and Friday/Saturday (9:00 p.m). Established by Ryan Stiles in 2004, the theatre is also available for hire, for on or off-site entertainment of any size event and corporate staff development training.
