Allied Arts of Whatcom County presents “Lush of Life”, the October exhibit of our 2023 Juried Gallery Series. “Lush of Life” is a dive into the richness of our world, offering exquisite photographs, lush paintings, and intricate jewelry to inject beauty into our lives.
Jeff Aspnes uses photography to reflect the natural world, capturing the enduring spirit that connects all living things.
Sam Chapman employs oil pastels on paper to create soft, flexible, and vulnerable perspectives that draw the viewer in to the outside.
Liz Cunningham hand beads necklaces, bracelets and earrings that create dynamic embellishments with glass and stone.
John D’Onofrio explores the forms, textures and colors of the natural world – both the grandeur and intimate details of our diverse landscapes.
David Lucas photographs stunning scenes from across Whatcom, Skagit and Island counties, capturing the beauty of our local scenery.
Joy S. Olney paints impressionist-style, capturing the essence and energy of life with bold colors, fleeting light, and thick brushstrokes.
The show’s opening reception Oct 6 will include a live performance by Chuck Dingée, local singer and guitarist and part of Bellingham’s classic rock band The Walrus.
Allied Arts is a non-profit gallery, all proceeds from sales go towards supporting the arts in our community.
