The best of the 42nd NW Filmmakers Festival presents a cross-section of the unique styles and visions coming from filmmakers living and working in the greater NW region. Pulled from the NW Filmmakers Festival which occurs each November in Portland Oregon and put on by the NW Film Center, these films are selected to showcase the best works from the shorts programs. Narrative, documentary, animation, and experimental are each represented in this screening of nine films teeming with themes found throughout the great Northwest: beauty, wonder, magnitude and emotion.
