We are still out there making a difference in our community thanks to YOU, our wonderful customers who faithfully shopped and donated at our Thrift & Gift Shop.

As you know, we are temporarily closed…but when it is safe to do so, we are planning to open up again with unique and quality treasures just like before! We miss all your smiles! We are continuing to “limp” along, but it is hard without your help.

Our programs fulfill needs to our community that are life changing

Operation School Bell®

The children keep outgrowing their clothes. We still provide new ones. This year 780 students received $100 gift cards to shop at Target through our Operation School Bell program.

Hospital Patient Support

Hospital ER patients in need of clothing when leaving the hospital are provided with new sweatshirts and sweatpants. In the past two months Assistance League has delivered 140 items of clothing to fill this need.

Enrichment Scholarship Program

Eager to learn, middle and high school students appreciate the opportunity when given a summer scholarship.

Care Center Support

Men and women living in Whatcom County care centers smile with gratitude when remembered with personal gifts over the holidays.

The need in our community is even greater now.  Remember when you shopped at our Thrift & Gift to get such terrific items for such reasonable prices?

You can continue to safely help us from home.  Think about what you would have spent at the shop and make a donation in that amount to Assistance League of Bellingham. We can still work together to make a difference.
