One week ago today, on Friday August 21, Unity Care NW held our first ever Virtual Eat Local Gala. Thanks to our sponsors, attendees, and partners it was a huge success! We met our $10,000 fundraising goal and are now striving for our stretch goal of $15,000.
An all star lineup
We partnered with Ciao Thyme and K’ul chocolate for delicious locally sourced to-go meals. During the event we shared a special cooking demo from Ciao Thyme, our friends at Sustainable Connections provided info on Eat Local month, and our CEO gave an update on our work before and during the current Coronavirus pandemic.

Donations help our patients live their healthiest lives
Funds from this event will help support innovative and affordable programs for pain management, diabetes control, and addiction recovery. They will ensure that we have the protective materials to keep patients and staff safe and will support access to care and medications for thousands of individuals that are financially struggling in our community. And there’s still time to give!
