Buy your tickets today for this year’s Women Sharing Hope Handbag Auction and Champagne Luncheon, set to take place Saturday, April 13th. From 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Bellingham Technical College’s Settlemyer Hall. The last day to buy tickets is April 3rd.
This is the group’s 20th annual fundraising event, and this year’s beneficiaries are Blue Skies For Children and Hope House.

Blue Skies’ Little Wishes program aims to help low-income, homeless and foster children. Those wishes include camps, sport participation, school trips, instrument fees, driver education and other one-time expenses to enrich a child’s life. Children learn and grow from participation in such programs and build self-esteem and hope, which translates into improvement in school and within families. Approximately 150-160 children participate in the Little Wishes program each year.
Hope House strives to supply and provide inventory for its Children’s Corner, a newly opened building with a need for new undergarments, shoes, boots, coats, winter clothing, etc. Items are for all ages of children, plus infant supplies, including car seats. The guiding principle is keeping the dignity of the human person by helping clients stay clean, safe and healthy.
“Please join us for our upcoming event,” says even chair Rose Knudson. “We’ll have wonderful entertainment – and feel free to dress up!”
Women Sharing Hope is an all-volunteer organization that wanted to really celebrate big for their 20th anniversary.
“The last day to buy tickets is April 3rd,” Knudson says. “Don’t miss out!”
“Put on your poodle skirt and join the fun!” adds Mary Gibb of Gary’s Plumbing.
Tickets are $50.00 each. For ticket information, please Call Kobi Dorning at 360-820-2714 or click here: http://womensharinghope.maestroweb.com/
