“Big Ole: A Timber Mill Whistle in Bellingham” is local author Todd Warger’s newest book. Join Todd for a presentation about the history of the logging industry during 1899-1942, including the true story of a revered mill whistle named by Scandinavian lumber mill workers. Its loud shrieks were heard across Bellingham Bay in communities as far away as Blaine.
