A whole day of gardening workshops! Learn fruit tree grafting with Master Gardeners, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.. Two free apple rootstock will be available to each participant or family, scion wood provided. Space is limited, please click on the link to register at wcls.org.

Rain Gardens with Lyn Morgan-Hill, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.. Lyn will talk about the basics of putting in a rain garden to handle your storm water.

Raised bed building with Local Food Works, 3 to 4 p.m.. Participate in building raised garden beds in the Deming Library Learning Garden. We will also plant the beds with early spring greens and install a mini hoop house to demonstrate season extension. Bring your gloves and boots for this hands-on experience. Event made possible by Master Gardeners, Local Food Works, and the Friends of the Deming Library.
