R2AK – Race to Alaska – is a no motors/no support boat race through the 750 miles of the Inside Passage from Port Townsend to Ketchikan, Alaska. R2AK is the first boat race of its kind, North America’s longest human and wind powered race, with the largest cash prize for a race of this type. Daniel Evans, Race Boss for R2AK will talk about what he learned from taking a pretty bad and risky idea and turning it into a somewhat manageable madhouse.
