Pop Culture: Posters, Playbills and Parphernalia

No matter your age or origin we all remember and derive powerful feelings when we see certain images or objects. Images like “Rosie the Riveter,” Star Wars, Nirvana or “Coachella” posters or even perhaps a song can immediately take us to that special place. Pop culture might be defined as the entirety of attitudes, ideas, images, perspectives, etc. within the mainstream of a given culture. This October we will showcase a variety of framed posters, playbills and paraphernalia sure to start you searching the hidden recesses of your life for those artifacts you have saved to frame … someday.
The show runs October 23 – November 25, 2017.
