The South Fork Valley Community Association (SFVCA) is pleased to present
Project NeighborShare funded by a “Project Neighborly” grant from the Whatcom Community Foundation. Project NeighborShare involves a series of five panel discussions featuring folks from around the South Fork Valley region sharing their particular sets of skills.

These presentations, running from March through May 2018 at the Van Zandt Community Hall, enable neighbors from various walks of life and locales in the eastern Whatcom County Foothills to share their expertise and learn from one another while enjoying a bountiful buffet provided by area eateries.

Getting acquainted, exploring opportunities, and learning new skills while enjoying fantastic local food…what’s not to like about that? All are welcome to partake in this community-wide exchange of knowledge, ideas and plain old neighborly chitchat.

Panel #5: “Nurturing Your Inner Artist.”
From needlepoint to jewelry, crafty locals reveal their secrets.…Need a new hobby? Want to improve on your current skills? Want to create that special handmade gift for Aunt Agnes, but you’re not sure where to start? Learn how to bring “homemade” into your home, with tips and advice from imaginative and handy neighbors.
Featuring:
