Anat Baniel Method NeuroMovement® class followed by a Nia Moving to Heal class to help integrate the changes gained from the lesson.
Similar to a Feldenkrais lesson. On the floor or in a chair, I verbally guide people through a series of gentle, slow movements by use the power of the brain to “wake up” and change movement patterns to more “organized” movements leading to less pain and risks of injuries. Basically teaching your brain to use your body more effectively! NeuroMovement® is a brain-based, scientifically supported approach to movement which facilitates better movement and literally wakes up your brain! See www.neuromovement.com for more information.
What is Nia Moving to Heal? We learn to heal ourselves by listening to the voice of the body. We use our own sensations to track comfort and discomfort, and to choose pleasurable, safe ways to move and self-heal in our own body’s way – not someone else’s. It is the art of feeling better, in every way. Nia Moving to Heal aims, through movement, to give more space, grace and freedom to the human spirit.

Why I chose to combine this modality with ABM NeuroMovement?

Through the uplifting & beautiful music, by paying attention to your body, you become further integrated from the movement lesson and leave feeling more grounded, relaxed and supported.”
