Meals on Wheels Rocks the Farm Fundraiser

Meals on Wheels and More is hosting its second “Rocks the Farm” event featuring live music from local dance and party band, The Dagwoods. Event sponsors include Vibrant USA and Dewey Griffin Subaru.

In addition live music, attendees will enjoy a BBQ meal and shortcake with fresh, local berries, games, face painting and more. Beer by Boundary Bay Brewery and wine will be available for purchase. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets for lawn seating. “We’re so excited to team up with Meals on Wheels and More and the other sponsors to put on this event. It’s an honor to have the opportunity to give back to community and help raise funds for such a great cause,” shares Kailie Roosma, VibrantUSA Operations Manager.

Tickets are $25 in advance/ $30 at the door. Admission is free for kids 12 and under. Tickets are available now online at BrownPaperTickets.com, or in person at the Bellingham Senior Activity Center or the Community Food Co-op.

All proceeds from the event will support Meals on Wheels and More, a program of the Whatcom Council on Aging, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
