For the First Friday Art Walk in July, Make.Shift Gallery presents “Gender Trouble: A Queer Art Showcase.” This exhibition will highlight recent works from both professional and emerging LGBTQ+ artists from Bellingham and Seattle. Featured artists will include Clyde Peterson, Nika Feline, Kat Varela, Jessica Weaver, Oliver Ray Sebren and more. Primarily through the mediums of painting and drawing, these artists explore issues of identity, sexuality and limitations of the gender binary.

Coinciding with the opening of “Gender Trouble” on July 7th, Make.Shift will be partnering with Bellingham Pride to host an all-ages Pride Dance. Music will begin at 8:30 with a $5 suggested donation; proceeds will go to Make.Shift and Bellingham Pride.
