Junior Roller Derby!

Join the Subdued City Rollers, Whatcom County’s junior roller derby league for a fun showcase featuring all levels of junior roller derby. We kick off the event with a Level 1 skaters skill demonstration, followed by a Level 2 positional scrimmage, then a Level 3 full-contact scrimmage. Come to Whatcom Community College Pavilion and learn what junior roller derby is all about. Doors open at 2:00 PM. Level 1s demo will be at 2:40, with the first scrimmage whistle at 3:00 PM.

Stay after the juniors for a Bellingham Roller Betties double header. The first bout will see Tough Love take on visiting team Jet City Roller Derby at 5:00 PM, followed by the season championship game featuring F.L.A.S.H. vs Cogs. Don’t miss out on the excitement as these teams leave it all on the track! We will have concessions, a food truck and a beer garden.

2:40pm: Subdued City Rollers All Levels Expo
5pm: BRB Tough Love vs Jet City
7pm: F.L.A.S.H vs Cog Blockers

The Subdued City Rollers are an all-gender, inclusive league of skaters ages 5-18 (and still in high school). There are three levels: level one (new skaters), level two (no contact, positional play), and level three (full contact). No skating experience is needed to join our league. Come check them out and meet your local junior roller derby skaters.
