Jack’s BBQ Low and Slow Festival

Jack Brings All the Blues, Brews and BBQ to Algona on August 20th

The 2nd Annual Low and Slow Festival is less than a month away coming up here on August 20th, 2022 at the Jack’s BBQ Algona location!
The event will be an incredible day of BBQ, live music, great beverages, and a bunch of fun and games. Jack will be roasting a whole steer on site and making sandwiches for everyone with a ticket! Of course, there’ll be other smoky, delicious things to eat at the event along with drinks from our event sponsors including: Tito’s Vodka, WhistlePig Whiskey, Topo Chico, Locust Cider and Shiner Bock. And if that ain’t enough, you’ll get to try your hand at Chicken Sh*t bingo!
We’ve scheduled some amazing musicians with varying musical styles including country, blues and some good old-fashioned rock and roll!
This year’s lineup includes:
Kitty Mae – the self-proclaimed Cascade Cowgirl singing everything from Dolly to Miranda
Stag – bringing rock n’roll to your ear drums!
Brian Nova – from jazz to blues to be-bop to Latin – a terrific local guitarist and vocalist
Andy Timmons – yep – that’s Jack’s cousin – and world renowned guitarist!
Randy Hansen – an amazing Jimi Hendrix tribute artist

Again, this year’s event will take place at our Algona location, just south of Highway 18 on West Valley Highway. This is a shindig you won’t want to miss! Jack will be there all day to see y’all there for some music, food and fun!!
Tickets for the event can be purchased online for $35 in advance via Eventbrite. The Low and Slow Festival is for ages 21 and over and will be held rain or shine. Come join Jack and the BBQ crew for a day of great food, drink, music, and fun!
