International Arts and Music Festival at Peace Arch Park, June 24-26, 2016
For three days only, June 24 through June 26, 2016, the International Arts and Music Festival at Peace Arch Park in Blaine, WA will present a diverse array of artwork created by artists from the Greater Northwest. Unique sculptures, paintings, visual arts, textiles and more will be available for sale to guests from both sides of the border. There will be festive live music, dance, and exceptional food prepared by Cosmos Bistro. In keeping with its boutique style, locally produced wine by Samson’s Estate Winery and beer by Boundary Bay Brewing will be available in the outdoor wine and beer garden.
This is a Free Admission event and includes access to the Art show and the entertainment.
The International Arts and Music Festival is an out of the ordinary cultural experience that provides an opportunity to meet the artists in the beautiful garden setting of Peace Arch State Park. One of the organizers, Brian Major, says, “We are more excited this year than ever. We have amazing artists and a killer music lineup planned for our 4th annual Arts and Music Festival.”
You can relax at a shady picnic table and listen to jazz or African music or participate in a salsa dance. Afterward, purchase a spectacular silver necklace, a set of hand-thrown mugs, a quilted wall hanging, or you might take home a stunning painting or photograph, as a memorable representation of the region.
Mark your calendar and join the festivities June 24-26, Friday, 11—5, Saturday and Sunday, 10—5. For more information regarding the International Arts and Music Festival at Peace Arch Park, please visit www.PeaceArchArt.org
