Green Drinks at A-1 Builders

Join us at an outdoor party to celebrate a new stage of growth for A-1 Builders, a longtime Bellingham restoration and construction company that recently transitioned to a worker-owned cooperative! Grab a pint and network with other local cooperative businesses, check out A-1 Builders’ showroom and learn about their history of pushing the envelope on being green in the construction industry. We’ll also be honoring previous owners Cindi and Rick (who is also a RE Sources board member).

Being environmentally and socially responsible is important to A-1 Builders. They have been on the edge of the local building industry for 20+ years, focusing on sustainable business practices in all facets of their business: from materials and construction to helping buildings age in place. A-1 Builders reflects the ideals of the triple bottom line by caring for people, planet and profit. They were the first builder in Whatcom County to receive a 5-star rating from EnviroStars and have even been featured in an article in This Old House!
