The public is invited to receive complimentary photos of children, families and pets taken with Santa from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10 at Four Points by Sheraton Bellingham Hotel & Conference Center.
People coming for photos are encouraged to bring an unwrapped gift for Bellingham Toys for Tots. Hot cocoa and cookies will be served during the event in the decorated lobby of Four Points Bellingham, located at 714 Lakeway Drive.
The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program, the oldest and most successful non-profit program in the United States, accepts donations of new, unwrapped gifts for children as well cash, then distributes presents to local children in need. Run entirely by volunteers, 97 percent of all donations go directly toward gifts. More than 1,300 Whatcom County families were served by the program last year.
“Santa photos are ideal for sharing and remembering the joy of the holidays,” said John Burns, general manager of Four Points Bellingham. “We hope our guests will enjoy the experience and be generous in bringing presents or cash for Bellingham Toys for Tots.”
