In Bellingham Music Club’s first program of 2024, pianist Judith Widrig and violinist Carolyn Canfield share “Musical Stories” as well as ravishing playing.
They will perform the crown jewel of the string sonata repertoire, César Franck’s Sonata in A major, as well as Lera Auerbach’s modern contribution, Sonata no. 2, ‘September 11’. They will round out their program with works by Lili Boulanger, Larisa Kuzmenko, Rebecca Clarke, and Arvo Pärt.
