Sail into the season in the seaside town of Blaine with holiday festivities to delight the whole family!

Festivities include a Christmas Arts and Crafts Bazaar, Free Horse Drawn Carriage Rides, Holiday Lights Obstacle Dash, Caroling, Music, Community Tree Lighting, a Visit from Santa and a Dazzling Boat Display!

Shop for unique gifts Friday and Saturday from 9-4 pm at the Homemade Arts & Crafts Christmas Bazaar at the Blaine Community Center ~763 G Street. Cozy up with a good book from the Blaine Library Winter Book Sale ~ 610 3rd Street, Friday 10-6 pm & Saturday 10-3 pm.

Sprint to the finish at the Holiday Lights Obstacle Dash 1.5 mile fun run or walk with obstacles for all ages for all ages organized by Blaine-Birch Bay Park and Recreation, Let’s Move Blaine and sponsored by local businesses. The race starts at 2:30 pm from H Street Plaza and is followed by a warm bowl of chili at the Pastime Bar and Eatery, 658 Peace Portal Drive.

Reminisce of an Old Fashioned Christmas and ride a Horse Drawn Trolley Ride downtown (free) sponsored by the Blaine Chamber on Saturday, December 3rd 5 to 7 pm.

Come one come all to the Holiday Harbor Lights Community Tree Lighting at “H” Street and Peace Portal Drive on Saturday, December 3rd at 4:30 pm with caroling. Enjoy free refreshments sponsored by Semiahmoo & Stafholt and the Blaine School Band & Choir playing in anticipation of Santa’s arrival.  The Tree Lighting takes place at 4:30 pm and with Santa arriving at 5:00 pm to visit with tots. Santa will take time to visit with tots for pictures and free candy canes at the Blaine Pizza Factory ~738 Peace Portal Drive. Peace Portal Drive will be closed to traffic from (4 pm-6 pm) from H and G Streets during the tree lighting festivities.
