Marketing, Business Planning, and Access to Capital Workshops for Beginning Farmers and Ranchers:
The Northwest Agriculture Business Center is coming to WSU San Juan Extension to provide two one-day workshops. The topic on this date is Marketing. NABC Project Manager Jeff Voltz will cover the key components of market and business feasibility analyses, how to access consumer demographic and product trend information, and access new markets, as well as developing a winning business plan and gain access to business start-up or expansion capital.
Workshop is free; please bring your own bagged lunch.
Jeff Voltz, Project Manager, NABC:
Jeff has more than 20 years of executive experience in the retail grocery industry, serving as the CEO and President of PCC Natural Markets, the General Manager of Community Food Co-op (Bellingham), as well as the Grocery Supervisor for the Alaska Commercial Company with 18 stores in rural Alaska.
Jeff also has more than 20 years of experience in community, rural, cooperative and farm business development. He has worked for NABC since September of 2009, providing business development services to dozens of clients in the dairy, livestock, poultry and specialty crop sectors.
