Gloria Steinem is a writer, lecturer, political activist, and feminist organizer. She co-founded New York Magazine and Ms. Magazine, and is particularly interested in the shared origins of sex and race caste systems, gender roles and child abuse as roots of violence, non-violent conflict resolution, the cultures of indigenous peoples, and organizing across boundaries for peace and justice. In 2013, President Obama awarded her the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian honor. She lives in New York City.

The endearing and groundbreaking Julia Scotti has been called “a cross between Sam Kinison and Mrs. Doubtfire.” Jocelyn Chia is a New York-based comedian originally from Singapore who combines cross-cultural observations and her past as a lawyer to hilarious effect. Karen Rontowski delivers quirky and charmingly optimistic comedy blended with her life as a paranormal investigator.
