WCC Music Faculty Duo Recital: Gabriel Mañalac, piano and Heather Ray, violin

Music Discipline faculty members Gabriel Mañalac and Heather Ray present a program of music for piano and violin. Focusing on African American music and art in the early 20th century, featuring William Grant Still’s Suite for Violin and Piano and its connections to visual art by Richmond Barthé, Sargent Johnson and Augusta Savage. Program will be followed by a Q&A with the performers.
