This event especially welcomes nature novices. Arroyo Park showcases a mature, moist forest habitat with the lovely Chuckanut Creek bubbling at the bottom. Your guide, an experienced amateur naturalist, will help you learn some of the common trees and plants of the forest, and help you learn to see the living story unfolding in the forest. If you are interested, stay an hour longer to hike to two miles further and 600 feet elevation gain (round trip) to view beautiful Chuckanut Falls.
Meet at the North Chuckanut Mountain Trailhead parking lot, on North Chuckanut Drive, just south of the intersection with Old Samish Road.
