
What to Expect:
-Learn how to identify the plants that can be used to wildcraft cordage, arrows and bows
-Handcraft a deer or elk leg bone arrowhead to take home.
-Process natural fibers into cordage with a lesson on making lashing for arrowheads and fletching, or a bow string (concept craft/technique practice); Create cordage with natural fibers from start to finish.
-Archery target practice session that will teach beginners how to handle, hold, and shoot longbows and recurve bows safely. Limited bows available. (byob if you have one)
What to bring:
-Dress for the weather
-Snacks and water
-Notebook and pen (optional)
-Your own bow and arrows if you have them (optional)
