Sustainable Connections unveils The Green Home Guide, an online resource for the community to stay healthy and resilient at home. They have teamed up with local experts to bring Whatcom County inspiring examples of green building, video tips from area experts, a directory of local businesses, and resources to help homeowners with green home projects.
“Now more than ever our homes have become a refuge and a secure place to be with family. The Green Home Guide will help our community explore ideas to make their homes resilient and sustainable, so they are more prepared no matter what life throws at them,” said Rose Lathrop, Program Director for Sustainable Connections. “Whether you’re interested in retrofitting a classic, historic home with the best in today’s energy efficiency standards, or looking to maximize space to offset your global climate change footprint—the guide is full of new ideas, resources, and inspiration.”
The Green Home Guide can be found on Sustainable Connections’ website and includes resources, extensive photos, video tips from local experts, and a directory of local businesses that provide home and landscape goods and services.
