Whatcom Community College 25th annual Honors and Awards ceremony will be celebrated online this year, recognizing more than 30 students for exemplary academic excellence and community service. Students were nominated throughout the year for the various awards by WCC faculty and staff. The top honors—the President’s and Laidlaw Awards—went to Mario Alem and Maria Guadalupe Hernandez, respectively. 

All awardees will be recognized online, as part of the College’s virtual commencement ceremony festivities, which premiere Friday, June 19 at 6:30 p.m. atwww.whatcom.edu/commencement. The commencement ceremony video will stream on the College’s Facebook page on Friday evening and be available after the ceremony on YouTube
