The Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County is glad to announce over 30 years of fruitful partnership with Whatcom County Little Caesars locations. All six locations participate in the Little Cheesers Campaign, which raises money to support the four Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County Clubhouses: Bellingham, Blaine, Lynden and Ferndale. The campaign is estimated to have raised nearly $100,000 since it began in 1988.
This year, the campaign will run from June 1st through July 5th.
“All of my kids have gone to the Clubs in Lynden and/or Bellingham and I cannot say enough great things about the staff and volunteers. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County is giving children in Whatcom County great opportunities,” Little Caesars CEO Ray Caldwell said.
As part of the campaign, restaurant guests are encouraged to add a donation of $1 or more to their purchase to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County. Participating guests will have a Little Cheesers disc posted to the wall to honor their contribution.
“Without community partners like Little Cheesers, we could not fulfill our mission of bringing Great Futures to the youth of Whatcom County. Year after year, we have been thankful for their support,” CEO Heather Powell said.
Celebrating more than 70 years of nonprofit service to the youth in our community, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County provide athletic and after-school programs for more than 6,000 youth across the county. Fundraiser proceeds support the Targeted Program Areas of Academic Success, Good Character and Citizenship and Healthy Lifestyles for youth and teens in grades 1-12.
