Great Conversations for Girls: A Heart-to Heart on Growing Up

Back for a third year, this popular single-day class uses an informal format to present and discuss issues unique to preteens. This first session is recommended for girls ages 10-12 and a parent or trusted adult. The course emphasizes family communication and resources to support young people on their journey through adolescence.

Facilitated by Julie Metzger, RN, MN, the conversation will focus on:

• What girls experience in puberty
• What boys experience in puberty
• Social issues and decision-making
• Other topics important for preteen girls

Every family will receive a copy of Dr. Rob and Julie’s book, “Will Puberty Last My Whole Life?”
